My Canon Elan 7N cost $264 plus $65 for verticle grip and it's an outstanding value. The new F100 is 1/2 the price and it's still a top performing camera. The F6 is top performer but do you really need all thet performance. Or you can get a new Nikon and modern lenses for much more money. You will need Nikon AIS lenses, but you can get them for under $100 each - used.
